How to: Use Chat

Step 1.

All chat shows up in the chat window. This is set to transparent by default.
Clicking on the oval shape with the half-profile inside will make the window visible as seen in step 2.

Step 2.

Checking each box will turn on or off various chats; Local, Guild, Team, Trade, Alliance, or Emotes.
This can be useful if you are in a very populated outpost and do not want to see certain chats such as Local or Trade.

Click on the tab for the chat you wish to use. Then press enter on your keyboard, type what you want to say, and press enter again.
